Misty offers both indoor studio portraits and outdoor portraits at her Franklin studio and 2.5-acre property. The setting depends on the portrait experience and what best fits the people, pets, and story being photographed. Pets & Their People, Family, and Senior sessions can be photographed indoors or outdoors. Headshots are primarily photographed in the studio, with outdoor options available when appropriate.

Sessions are guided from beginning to end. Misty helps with posing, positioning, interactions, and natural expressions while creating a variety of portraits. The exact session flow depends on the type of portrait experience.

After the session, you will view your portraits with Misty and choose the images and artwork you would like to have. Viewing can take place the same day or during a return appointment at the studio, depending on the portrait experience.

Misty specializes in finished portrait artwork including prints, Wall Art, Image Boxes, and Albums. Senior sessions include the option of Senior Albums. Collections begin at $800, and Wall Art begins at $620.

Portrait session fees vary by experience. Family, Pets & Their People, and High School Senior sessions are $690 on weekdays and $790 on weekends, with a $500 portrait credit toward your purchase. Headshot sessions are $390 on weekdays and include two digital images. Special projects and experiences may have their own participation fees.

Your session fee covers the portrait experience, including planning, the photography session, and a personalized viewing appointment where you choose the portraits you want to purchase. For Family, Pets & Their People, and Senior sessions, the $500 portrait credit can be applied toward your artwork purchase.

That is completely okay. You do not need to know how to pose or feel naturally comfortable in front of a camera. Misty guides you throughout the session and creates opportunities for natural interaction as well as more traditional portraits.

Pets & Their People focuses on the relationship and personality of your pet. Family Portraits focus on the people and relationships that make your family yours. Senior Portraits focus on a high school senior's personality, style, interests, and confidence. Headshots focus on creating professional images for business and personal branding.

We understand that illness and weather sometimes make rescheduling necessary, and we'll work with you when that happens. Because your session date is reserved specifically for you, we ask that you limit rescheduling whenever possible. Repeated rescheduling may require a new session fee to reserve another date.
