Birkin’s Morning at Dragon Park | Tails of Music City
A morning at the park means something different when you’re there with your fur-baby. You get to watch what catches her attention, enjoy her excitement, and spend time together doing something she loves.
For Birkin and her dog mom, Kendall, a morning at Dragon Park in Nashville was also their Tails of Music City portrait experience.
There was room for Birkin to explore and play while I photographed her along the way. Kendall got to enjoy the morning with her, watching the little moments unfold that would later become favorite photographs.

In Kendall’s Words
“Spending the morning at the park with my dog and Misty was such a magical experience. It was so much fun watching her explore and play while Misty captured all of those special moments. The photoshoot never felt forced; it felt like we were simply enjoying the day together, and her pictures truly reflected that. I am so happy with my photos! I couldn’t have asked for better pictures of my baby. They are absolutely perfect, and I’ll cherish them forever!”
— Kendall, Birkin’s dog mom
The Joy of Letting Her Be Herself
What I love about Kendall’s story is how much she enjoyed the experience itself. Watching Birkin explore. Seeing her play. Having a morning together that felt easy and fun.
That enjoyment matters. A pet portrait experience gives us time to pay attention to the fur-baby you know so well: her expressions, her curiosity, and the things she does that make you smile.
I bring the camera and gentle guidance, and we make room for her personality. With Birkin, that meant photographing her as she enjoyed Dragon Park, creating portraits Kendall felt truly reflected the morning they shared.

A Nashville Story Worth Remembering
Tails of Music City brings together the fur-babies we love and the Nashville places where their stories unfold. Birkin’s morning at Dragon Park is one of those stories.
When Kendall looks at her photographs, she gets to see more than a beautiful portrait of Birkin. She gets to remember watching her explore and play, and how much fun they had together.
Those personal memories are at the heart of this book project. Each fur-baby brings a personality, a relationship, and a story that matters to someone who loves them.
For Kendall, that love comes through in every word of her testimonial.
“I’ll cherish them forever!”
