Most of you that have followed my photography business know that in the beginning, when my studio was in Arkansas, I did many weddings and events. As the business continued to grow, I also started going to church on Saturday. This was a dilemma for me because I did not want to miss our church services. At this point, I shifted my focus to the portrait sessions my studio offered and stopped doing weddings and events on Saturday. In the following years, I moved to Tennessee, got married to my wonderful husband, and started our business together in Franklin, Tennessee. Our church, Remnant Fellowship, has many beautiful weddings throughout the year. I was very happy to be able to join our church photography team. These are weddings put together by the church congregation. The food, the decorating, the cake, the hair and makeup, the photography and video, are all done by a great big church family! Amazing, like nothing I have ever seen before while photographing close to 50 wedding jobs. So when I say I don’t do weddings, I mean I don’t do weddings for business, but I get the opportunity to serve God and wonderful friends as I volunteer my time for these amazing weddings. Please check out our wedding website here and know that all the photographs are taken by our team as a beautiful way to share the gifts God has given.
